Blog Update!
For those of you not following me on Facebook, as of the Summer of 2019 I've moved to Central WA, to a tiny mountain town of less than 1,000 people.

I will be covering my exploits here in the Cascades, as I try to further reduce my impact on the environment. With the same attitude, just at a higher altitude!

Ladies who lunch

Here are the chickens on our urban homestead, working on some leftovers and a few dandelions. In goes food scraps. Out comes eggs.

If you just can't get enough hot, live chicken action, here's a new video for you. With some random commentary in the background. Enjoy!

Just like romeo. IN goes food, Out comes poop. I don't see any hand crafted sweaters on those chickens yet. I enjoy the video from your Urban Homestead(r)

I'm currently trying to talk myself out of chickens for the spring. I've wanted them for a couple of years... but just not sure it's the right time yet. What do you think?

If you've got the setup, Abbie, go for it. They are super easy.

I've been asking Ed to build me a coop for my 30th bday next month...

I think between you and Green Bean telling me to get them, I'm convinced :)
