Tripod clothes drying rack giveaway!

In anticipation of October's Hang 'Em Dry Challenge, where you can pledge to line dry all of your laundry for the month to save money on utilities as well as reduce your carbon footprint, I have another clothes drying rack to give away! So, if you missed out on the last one, now's your chance to win a rack - this one has a little more utility to it!

If you are having problems with the accordion style drying racks that tend to get wobbly over time, but like the convenience of a rack that you can move inside when the weather starts looking suspicious, then you'll like this tripod style wooden clothes drying rack. It has 24 feet of clothes hanging capacity and, the best part is, it is adjustable to fit any space, even in the corner.

The Best Drying Rack is a U.S. made rack from a small-scale manufacturer and is constructed of maple hardwood and corrosion resistant steel construction (no plastic parts). It sets up quickly and folds up for storage to an 8" round and 27" tall closed rack.

What's also cool is that the top rotates for loading so you don't have to scoot around it to hang your clothes. It's also sturdy enough to dry six pairs of jeans or twelve bath towels at once.

Giveaway!
If you are interested in entering the randomly drawn giveaway (U.S. residents only), please add your name to the comments of this post and check out the challenge to kick-start saving money and reducing your carbon emissions by a thousand pounds of carbon a year or more!

You have until midnight PST Wednesday, September 29th to enter. Good luck!

Way cool -- I could use it!

I love this design! Sadly, my 6yr old would probably confiscate it, but then at least I could use my accordian-style dryer without having to remove her dolls' clothes prior to hanging each load!

I'd love one! Thanks for the great giveaways - line drying is one of my goals for this winter. I just need to clean out the garage first...

I love this design! I would live to win but even without I'm stepping up to the challenge!!

This would be great for drying clothes in the winter inside near the woodstove !

Oh, that looks awesome! I like that it doesn't have any plastic parts, too. I definitely wouldn't mind winning that! :-)

I've been on the lookout for a new drying rack. I can only find the accordions in the store and I've had trouble with those. I've never seen this style before, it looks interesteing.

This looks wonderful! I hang most everything on hangers in the basement from our exposed water pipes, but bath towels are to big for that. This would be perfect!

I haven't seen this type before and I would love to try it out. I have to chase the sun around my deck, so moveable is definitely the way to go.

What a great design! It looks low enough for my two boys to be able to reach it to hang their cloths! Thank you for the "Earth Friendly" giveaway!

When I start using cloth diapers in a few months, another drying rack will be very handy!

historicstitcher said...

I could definitely use that! My wooden one is almost all used up and I need the drying space!

Cheryl Ann said...

Oh, I'd love one of those, too! I set up a clothes line out in my back yard for my sheets and towels and use it now. I missed having a clothes line. My mom and grandmother both used one and I missed the smell of clean, fresh sheets!

BigHappyFamily said...

Yes please. Permanent clothes lines are banned on our neighborhood (boo), so we have to use racks.

I could give indoor drying a try with a rack like that. Put my name in the hat, please.

I've not seen a rack like that before...it certainly looks neat!

Way cool being able to hang so many jeans or towels at one time. I have to be mix the towels with other clothes because the places to hang bath towels on my collection of racks is limited. I did pick up (at Costco) a metal rack that looks like the wings of an old fashioned plane that solved the pant & dress drying issues.

Well, since we're seriously considering life in a 5th wheel with no yard (for a "real" clothesline), I could really use this.

Awesome. Could totally go for that. Looking forward to line drying all of my laundry (as I will have the space by October to do it!) again!

Tree Huggin Momma said...

That is so awesome, and made in the good old USA as well! I have a great drying system, but having more drying space wouldn't hurt. I would love one of those racks. Got a badge for this Challenge? I would like to add it to my site. I'll link back to the original post, but I like the look of badges and don't know how to create them myself. Trying to cheat and get caught up on all the laundry before 10/1 so I can get into a rythem. :)

I would love to get in on the drawing for this one! :)

This is what my mom used to use... she found one at a garage sale in the 70's (I think it was an antique when she got it!) and used it all the time!
I'd love to win one!

Unknown said...

Awesome, I could dry my kids diapers on the racks if I won this one. The diapers are standing in the way of my signing up for the challenge. We do everything else but the quantity of laundry is just too much with the diapers too!

This rack is so cute! I'd love to have one of these.

I would love to win one of these. We can dry outside most of the year, but we can get a lot of rain in the winter. This would be great for additional outside drying or inside, in the winter!

Cool- in addition to a clthes rack, one could decorate it with L.E.D. Lights and use as a christmas tree.

That would work perfect in small spaces!

Leanne said...

Here in Colorado there aren't too many weeks I have to go without drying on the line outside... but somehow the weeks that are too cold & snowy tend to turn into either piles of laundry "waiting for a sunny day" (good excuse, no?) or more frequent use of the dryer. I could totally go for a free-standing solution that would work inside as well as out, and supplement the existing line!

Angie said...

I would love to win one of these! It would sure save me a lot. I don't have anywhere outside that I could put a clothes line and we live in the city w/3 sides of street to our house and a very small yard.

We've been doing indoor drying by hanging wet clothes over our metal dining room chairs or on our recently acquired next-to-the-dumpster wobbly pull-apart rack. I would love to win that drying rack!

that is an awesome clothes dryer. I just got rid of (gave to charity) and huge old plastic one I have from the olympics years ago. I recently used it for drying children's art but it mostly just took up room.

Delora said...

This would be so useful! I started cloth diapering a few months ago, and feel guilty about throwing those eco-friendly dipes in the dryer, but have no place to conveniently sun them outside.

Please count me in for the drawing! We line dry all our clothes, all year long, inside. Often we could use just a little more real estate to get the bigger loads hung up. This looks like it would fit the bill. Thanks for the chance to win!
