Today's poll takes a look at the connection between celebrities and the environment from a different slant. Does what a celebrity says about what they are doing to help the environment change your thinking? Do you even care? Or does it depend on who is saying it?

I'll be posting my review of the book this week and interviewing the authors at the end of June. I'll be collaborating with my readers for interview questions (if you guys have any), so stay tuned for more information!
In the meantime, don't forget to take this poll:

I answered "I don't give a lick" as it does not affect me directly.
However, I can recognize that lots of people appear to care (if they didn't, the checkout counter at the grocery store would look way different) and if celebrities can help change their thinking, I'm all for it!
They can do a lot to make environmentalism mainstream.
I voted for Robert Redford in the last poll because the environmental "movement" isn't new, and Redford has been in it ever since I can remember. Celebrities ARE in a position to gather more impetus for a cause simply because they have access to the pulpit.
How COULD you leave out our fave Paris!!! FIE!! Whatever!
I LOVE that Oprah was an option! That's hilarious. I'm going to do what I think is right, but I do have more respect for people like Leo and Cameron who are using their status to help educate.
I honestly don't care what a celebrity does...that being said I voted for Ed Begley Jr. in the other poll. I think he does an excellent job of walking his talk, as it were, and I definitely am inspired by what he does.
I also care when an influential person preaches one thing and does another.
I only go to celebrities for advice on marriage and child rearing.
