Now, how do I know all my inside/outside temperatures? Well, a while back I got this handy-dandy indoor/outdoor wireless thermometer that tells you the inside temperature and humidity as well as the outside temperature. We have the thermostat receptor thingamajig mounted outside in a non-sunny location for accurate, up-to-the minute weather. Because we so need instant weather information around here.

Anyhoo, as you can see, it's only 54 degrees outside, yet she is wearing a short skirt with tights and basically a bra top. My daughter likes to check out what the thermometer lady is wearing and then yell at me for not wearing the appropriate outfit. Shit, I wouldn't wear so few clothes at the indoor temperature of 66 degrees.
I can't wait to see what she's wearing when it's 95 degrees outside this summer. Pasties and a g-string? I think my husband will take over telling me that I need to dress like the thermometer woman when that happens.

LOL! :)
You need to tell us the brand of the thermometer. I *need* a digital women to tell me what to wear.
66 degrees?? That's shorts weather in up here, eh.
Plus, you need to account for the temperature with a trench coat on or inside the cake your hootchie is jumping out of in that ensemble. It must get warm inside a stripper cake.
I want an update on what she's wearing at some point this summer!
This is great! What a funny idea....and even funnier the outcomes. What is the brand and where did you get it? haha!
If that was me on the thermometer, it would rotate between a paint-stained sweatshirt, velour pants and thick socks when it's cold and my disgusting old paint-stained mesh shorts and a tank top when it's hot.
I'm not showing my husband this post :)
66* is still sweater weather here in Orlando!
Insane, and yes, a conspiracy. Take a look here, at the "latest in business fashion" -

fight your way past the dumb ad; it's worth it.
Business clothing designed for easy access; for those seeking promotion. Kneepads extra.
Humorous, yet curiously offensive, simultaneously.
ok, this could be easier!

Greenpa~I particularly liked the caption on one of outfits that said that due to the bulky nature of the fabric-the models looked larger than they actually were.
I've seen girls in short skirts in this weather (I'm in NYC) but I've also seen it on campus when I was in undergraduate. BUT it is hilarious that this thermometer actually shows a woman dressed like that. They should have a "guidelines to dressing" section in the owner's manual hahaha
It's called the Freeze Your Buns Challenge. The thermometer lady is dressing to meet the freezing part of the challenge, obviously. If she makes a little money on the side, then she can buy extra carbon offsets - everybody wins! :)
Years ago a few of us Canadians had to go to Atlanta, Georgia, in mid April for business. The temperature was in the mid 60's (fahrenheit): to us, still emerging from a Canadian winter, this was warm enough to go swimming. The Atlanteans (?) looked on in horror. I guess it all depends on your perspective.
I was thinking like your last paragraph when you first mentioned the clothing thing. Please post the brand name if you have it.
Our Freeze Your Buns Off contest should have been long over with, but as of today the best we can do is a high of 55. That just ain't right for South Louisiana where we have run about 15 below average this winter.

The brand is La Crosse. Here's the link and, as it says, the girl is dressed based on outside temps.
If we top 100 this August, I bet she's buck naked. Any bets?
Greenpa - I hope those girls aren't doing any heavy lifting associated with their "business" attire. Because I'm pretty sure they would snap in half.
Yeah here in Texas we should have low temps in the 70s right now. This morning it was 40! Not cool my friend... Not cool.
Hey, cool! Maybe I can do this. Or did it. I don't know. We had our thermostat set at 62 all winter then the heat went out. Daytime temps have been hitting low thirties, nighttime temps high teens and we're just bundling up.
Wanting a heat pump. Hubby wants geothermal. All costs money we don't have so we're hoping to have enough saved by next winter!
Pleasantly surprised how well our house holds heat, though. It's 51 in the morning when we wake up, which is a bit chilly, but the house warms up to a balmy 62 with south facing windows and the extra baking.
