We'll be having a green carpet premiere in Seattle in January to showcase the pilot and things are looking good for scoring a great venue to screen the show, have a Q&A with castmembers and production and, I'm sure, much more fun and merriment that will be announced. So, for those of you in the Seattle area who are interested in this project, I'll keep you posted on when and where it will be so you can join in.

I'll also be attending the Good Earth Home, Garden and Living Show in January in Eugene, Oregon (see events for more details):
Cast and crew will host a Mission: Sustainable main stage featuring the pilot episode, cast seminars, and more. Join us at the booth to record your own sustainable lifestyle tips for our website. This year’s Good Earth Home, Garden & Living Show will open for just 3 days, with over 250 exhibits, and 65 seminars. The Mission: Sustainable team will be joined by other national and local experts about green building, design, naturescaping, gardening and sustainable living.
For other events, take a peek at the updated website for the show, check out the Mission: Sustainable blog for some green living tips and add yourself to the Facebook Fan page to keep track of all things Mission: Sustainable.
Everything has been coming together like crazy for this project and I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to be working on it.

very very cool indeed! Huge congrats!!
One thing hit me- the logo you have there, with the Earth substituting for the o in mission?
To ME, that read, at first glance as:
missi (?)n sustainable! which then became, in my head, missh: unsustainable.
If you broke it into two lines,
MissiOn:
Sustainable!
That wouldn't be a problem. Anybody else see it that way?
I know; sounds very silly and picky; but the world of marketing is littered with the corpses of products that ignored something like this.
My favorite is a toy line you almost certainly never heard of; small fuzzy bears, put out by the Cabbage Patch folks, and unfortunately named
"Furskins!"
it never took off, though they tried a couple years.
because- half the potential customers just thought the name was a turnoff, when thinking about your children.
Just something about it. Can't quite uh, put my hands on it... furskin... furskin... ew.
gosh, it's on the tip of my tou..... ew.
Think I'll get something else. :-)
Greenpaps - T'ain't my logo, but I'll mention it to the powers that be.
You should really play off that name and setup a web site with "missions" people can complete on their own. Maybe they could correspond to stuff in each episode.
Not to get too hokey, but if you had some way for people to keep track of their own missions (or keep score), you might encourage people to do more than sit on their couches and getting greener vicariously.
Just a crazy thought...
Great work! I live right here in Eugene and am looking forward to meeting you in person and learning more about "Mission Sustainable." We're a very green and progressive community so I think you'll find lots of support here!
e4 - Great ideas... I've passed them along and they likey!
Greenbaby - Eugene sounds uber-green. I can't wait to meet y'all!
good stuff, E4 - those guys should hire you, quick! :-)
Well I do do a little web site design from time to time. :) I suck at making them look pretty though...
wow, there are lots of future boyfriends for me! Definitely keep me posted when the premier is! ; ) And keep an eye out for rings on their fingers for me, will ya? hee hee
