Blog Update! For those of you not following me on
Facebook, as of the Summer of 2019 I've moved to Central WA, to a tiny mountain town of less than 1,000 people.
I will be covering my exploits here in the Cascades, as I try to further reduce my impact on the environment. With the same attitude, just at a higher altitude!

Finished. Trying to prepared mentally for bee hives and chickens. Looking for land. Living in usual fantasy world. (and so glad that things are going well enough that you have time to think about reading!)
Finished long ago, but loved it and am happy to do a refresher to keep up with the book reading.
Hope Mr. Crunchy can participate as well!
Finished but, like Sandy, I'm up for to rereading it to participate in the discussions.
I got it late so I'm in the middle of it. I'm new to all this and have very little interest in gardening so I've been fascinated by her reporting and have looked into a local CSA. I'm looking forward to participating in the next discussion.
I'm about half way through, my new kitten is very distracting :) I am really enjoying it.
I put it on hold just this week, so don't know how much I'll get read before discussion surpasses those chapters, but it seemed like a good idea to get back into some "dead-tree" reading for a while.
Finished. Although I don't grow my own food, the book has been really helpful for figuring out what is most likely local or imported at the grocery store. And also helped me understand the seasonal nature of the produce at the farmer's market. It's also given me a much bigger appreciation of local farmers and desire to support them.
Finished it...I'm not sure how to participate in the discussion group...do I have to sign in or something?
Love the book and will love to see what everyone else got from it, too :)
