Sorry, Leo DiCaprio. Too bad, Robert Redford. The people have spoken and, well, 1 out of 3 readers prefer Ed Begley, Jr. over six other celebrity environmentalists.
Join in the excitement next month when Crunchy Chicken enlists the help of you, the readers, in interviewing Ed Begley, Jr. Those readers that participate will be entered in a drawing to win some fabulous swag.
sorry choqokat, Apple deserves little if any recognition as a "green" company - see http://www.greenpeace.org/international/campaigns/toxics/electronics/how-the-companies-line-up for more info. Since that report came out, and in large part due to pressure from Apple users, Steve Jobs has made some statements about Apple getting greener, but as we all know, talk is awfully cheap.
::swoon:: [he's one of the few peeps who does this to me.] i think he started the GEEKY IS IN! with grassroots efforts back in the early 80's.
ReplyDeletei KNOW it's not july, but i have to ask about the smart fortwo: does ed own one, or 6 - one in every color? do/will you? (see clubsmartcar.ca)
BTW, doesn't apple deserve to be recognized for its environmental support with the iphone? also a 'smart' device, no?

I LOVE Ed. I loved his show and I love the fact that he started being green before green was cool. Thanks Ed. Deb in MA
ReplyDeleteDang. His show looks like it would be interesting; it makes me want to get a TV again. ;-)
