We can bring prescription and over-the-counter medications to almost any pharmacy. The agency that runs the program then collects them and disposes of them (by incineration, I think). Of course this is not practical as it is not realistic. But I take a numerous amount of drugs, and make sure my doctor prescribes the right amount.
