Got a lot of blackberries? Then check out this recipe for Blackberry Mojito Fruit Leather.

I'm not a huge fan of fruit leathers, but this turned out super good! And, really, you can't go wrong with blackberries, mint and rum.

Freeze Yer Buns airs on King 5

This morning, King 5, our local NBC channel aired a few different clips about my Freeze Yer Buns Challenge, the challenge where you pledge to lower your thermostat to save money and reduce carbon emissions.

If you want to check out the accompanying article, you can do so here, Seattle blogger issues a 'chilly' challenge as temperatures drop.

They managed to post online the only clip where I, in true Sarah Palin fashion, am making up new English words.

Enjoy!

And, if you haven't yet signed up for the challenge, it's not too late to join in on the freezing fun!

Hahaha, misconsideration! Being recorded while talking publicly is the pits... I like your fire place! The challenge is going well but I wonder how I'll feel once it really gets cold...

What fun. And the reporters were all on your side, too; no "and this wacko thinks..." stuff.

Ha ha. A lot of people think our whole barely-heated lifestyle is a misconsideration. I'm going to start using that term regularly.

And-- what's this about "reminding people not to bring any barbecues inside"? Is that a Northwest thing?? Have never heard of anyone even thinking about doing that!
