I've got some sort of cold thing going on which has rendered me slightly incoherent with a fever and a lot of coughing. I have a lot of things I would like to write about, just not enough energy. The last two nights I've fallen asleep on my laptop.
Emma, on the other hand, has the flu of some sort. She has a high fever, headache, stomach ache, cough, sore throat and diarrhea. So, we are just having a grand ole time over here.
I'll be back to posting once I can string a few thoughts together worth reading...

I hope you get feeling better soon. The worst of my episode was last Monday/Tuesday but I'm still tired. Like Rob suggested, drinking water and a lot of sleep helps.

That sounds more like the flu - fever and cough are less common with colds. Don't mess around - see a doc and get tons of rest.
Feel better! The flu's starting to go around here, and I've been running around trying to help my friends with sub plans the last two days. I'm hopeful that nobody else will get sick, but I have this vision of me being the only healthy teacher left in my department, since I was the only one who could get the vaccine. (Yes, I know that's not a guarantee that I'll stay healthy!)
Sending you lots of healing vibes. It's going around. I just finished up a confirmed case of H1N1 - and I fear I've passed it along to The Little and Super Hubby. :( Feel better soon.
I had the same type thing and probably 3/4 of the bloggers I read have it too....... We're sick with the same bug all over the country at once.... Strange or normal? Maybe it's always like that but internet makes us aware of everyone else.
