This announcement has nothing to do with anything environmentally related, I just had to share it with you all. Apparently, my old house (that we sold 3 years ago) was used to shoot the movie, Humpday, which has been doing really well at film festivals this year and was recently purchased by Magnolia Pictures for distribution.
It's opening in Seattle on June 5th so we're just going to have to go check it out. From what I've seen in the trailer, they didn't change much. It still has the blue paint and the stainless fridge we picked out. I'm sure I'll be squealing through the whole movie when I see various parts of the house.
I love that place, it was just too small for all four of us. I still vividly remember its smells of the hardwood and plaster. And the popsicle stick shaped window and door framing. My son has plans to buy it back when he's an adult. I can't believe they would have used it since it's so small, but it's a very charming bungalow.
Too. Weird. And check out that awesome lawn....
