Blog Update!
For those of you not following me on Facebook, as of the Summer of 2019 I've moved to Central WA, to a tiny mountain town of less than 1,000 people.

I will be covering my exploits here in the Cascades, as I try to further reduce my impact on the environment. With the same attitude, just at a higher altitude!

Live Earth

Is Riot for Austerity too much for you? Did you miss out on Little Blog in the Big Wood's Planet Party and are forlorn about it? Did you do Low Impact Week and are looking for some community sponsored event?

Well, check out Live Earth on 7/7/07. Live Earth will use the global reach of music to engage people on a mass scale to combat our climate crisis.

And if, you live anywhere near Grand Prairie Texas, I encourage you to check out Anita's (aka oldnovice) party she's organized at Move On's site.

Are any of you already planning on participating?

I wish I wash going to a party around here. So far I've no luck getting anything organized.

activist mommy: Check out this link, change the zipcode to yours, enter the number of miles you're willing to travel and click on the SEARCH button. These parties are being held everywhere.

wendy: Just got an Email saying, "We just heard that Al Gore will have a special video message for you and your guests. This is an optional bonus for your party, and playing that video will require you to have a computer available at the party. (If you don't, that's no problem; your guests can watch Gore's message from home afterwards.) We'll send you a link to that video tomorrow, so remember to check your inbox." I consider that bad news because I hadn't planned on cleaning my office for this thing. :-)

Thanks for the plug, Crunch!

Crunchy,
On an unrelated topic, can you use the Diva Cup while backpacking in the wilderness. I worry about sanitation there when you don't have everything available to you...what are your thoughts?
Thanks

I am co-hosting a party in my town in FL. I heard there are 4 others here as well. I hope this creates some kind of action world wide and especially here in the US.

I will not be, as it is my oldest sons birthday. I am however blogging for 24 hours straight on the 28th of July to raise money for Farm Aid.
